Whether you are a professional athlete, musician, DJ, club employee, or motorcyclist, ProGuard makes a custom earplug for you! Though I still use inexpensive foam earplugs for various purposes, I was glad I made the leap and had custom musician’s earplugs made as well as professional quality earphones. The sound is amazing and as much as I love music and concerts, I’ve never regretted the expense.

The ProGuard manufacturing process is simple and efficient. You receive a kit in the mail and take it to an impression lab where simple impressions are taken of your ears. Whether you need earplugs for work, sport or fun (yet noisy) activities, you have a choice between investing in custom earplugs or purchasing reusable or disposable earplugs. What makes the most sense for you? Take the following factors under consideration.

Do you have a vacation planned? You’ve probably been thinking about what you’ll pack and whether you really need this outfit or that pair of shoes. If you have children, you have even more concerns about what to pack and what can be left at home.

You might not even be considering one item. You may not use earplugs at home, but when you travel, you may find yourself wishing you had some in your suitcase! Don’t Ride without Your Motorcycle Earplugs!

Last year, petrol prices forced us to sell our 4×4 and purchase a motorcycle for my husband to commute back and forth from work. He bought a used Harley Sportster and though it’s not real big bike, it does tend to wake the neighbours in the morning if you know what I mean. It’s loud!

He’d only been riding it a few weeks when I noticed that he seemed to be ignoring me. He had mentioned that the office receptionist thought it was kind of cool that he was riding the Harley! I thought, should I be jealous? Then I realised what was really going on! He couldn’t hear me! When I would make a comment about a movie we were watching, it wasn’t that he was dismissing it, he literally didn’t hear me say it. Continue reading →
