The BEST iPod Accessory!

If you’ve read my blog before, you know I’m a major music lover. As I write, I’m listening to my iPod (drowning out the kids in the background, see previous blog entry on this!). I also love to have my music playing while I run on the treadmill. It takes me to another world so I can get through the rather monotonous cardio. More Depressing News to Tune Out with Earplugs?

Wow, what a week for Hollywood! Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and now, Billy Mays (the infomercial guy… Sham Wow, OxyClean etc.). Yes, my house was still noisy with the sounds of my kids and their friends from the neighbourhood playing a lively game of Wii sports or running in the sprinkler in the front yard. But those were “happy” sounds; laughter, giggles and screams of delight as they blasted each other with super-soakers and water balloons. Sounds that parents relish, not choose to block with earplugs. Continue reading
